Federal Pell Grants

Federal Pell Grants are generally awarded to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a bachelor's or professional degree.

Eligibility is determined by the U.S. Department of Education, using a standard formula established by Congress.

The Pell Grant range for the 2007–2008 award year is $50 to $4,050.

Your award will depend on your

Expected family contribution (EFC)
Cost of attendance
Whether you are enrolled full time or part time
Whether you are attending for a full academic year or less

You can receive only one Pell Grant in an award year. You may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.
