Writing Center

Scholarly writing is a critical component of graduate-level study. Walden’s Writing Center supports graduate students as they develop and enhance their communication skills.

When you become a graduate student, you will have access to online writing resources and a dedicated staff of editors and tutors. Bachelor's degree students receive support from online tutors outside of the Writing Center.

The Writing Center provides

Free tutorial services, including English as a second language assistance
Graduate writing courses that address every stage of effective writing, from concept to final draft
One-on-one consultations on course papers
Comprehensive APA style and usage guidelines
Useful templates and samples of theses and dissertations
Recommendations for additional writing guides and resources
