NTU Outstanding Student Award

Jeff Kunz has earned three master’s degrees from National Technological University, now the NTU College of Engineering and Applied Science at Walden University.

Jeff Kunz was recognized as Walden University’s outstanding NTU student for 2006, a new award.

“When I began pursuing my graduate-level education in 1992, several high-technology companies were helping to sponsor and promote NTU as a distance-learning university,” says Kunz, an engineer. “NTU was considered one of the premier institutions that offered quality graduate degree programs to working professionals.”

To stay ahead in his field, he’s earned three master’s degrees at NTU, the most recent an M.S. in Systems Engineering in 2005.

Professional development and advancement also prompted Kunz to share his knowledge and become an NTU faculty member in 2004. Kunz has taught systems engineering and analysis for the last several semesters and was a co-instructor for leadership and teamwork.

“I will also have the privilege of acting as the instructor for Advanced Project Management next semester,” Kunz says.

Kunz was nominated for the award by NTU academic administrator Kathleen Heger.
