Ongoing Research Support
Center for Research Support
Walden’s Center for Research Support fosters a culture for original research by helping you
• Pursue funding for research projects
• Find resources for publishing research findings
• Get guidelines for developing dissertations
• And more
Library and Writing Support
Our librarians help you identify, evaluate, and obtain reference materials and additional resources. A virtual reference desk answers your research questions and supports your scholarly work. A Writing Center also offers free tutorial services and tips for formatting scholarly work.
Doctoral-Level Research
Several of Walden's doctoral programs use an individualized research curriculum that includes Knowledge Area Modules (KAMs). Each KAM culminates in a scholarly paper that demonstrates your mastery of the breadth, depth, and application of an entire subject area. Through this learning model, you are encouraged to conduct faculty-guided research and study in your area of interest.
Fellowships
To recognize and encourage your research and social change efforts, Walden offers competitive fellowships with awards of up to $10,000.
