Field Experiences
An integral part of Walden’s special education endorsement program, the field experiences are opportunities for you to connect theory and practice and prepare for daily classroom responsibilities.
Beginning with your first course, you will be required to complete five hours of field experiences in classrooms that meet criteria established by Walden. In addition, each course provides you with three to five hours of a specially designed Virtual Field Experience™ that is classroom-focused and interactive and relates to the course learning objectives, standards, and skills for effective teaching.
