Welcome from the Dean
It is my pleasure to welcome you to The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership. We are education professionals who seek to inspire, influence, and impact our diverse communities by helping to meet the challenges of education worldwide. From our teacher preparation program to our master’s and doctoral degree programs, we support the needs of educators at all levels, at every phase of their careers.
The college, named for the former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education, is the choice of more than 37,000 students and alumni. Our programs offer a collaborative learning experience that connects students to nationally recognized education experts, researchers, and scholars, as well as fellow educators nationwide.
We believe in supporting your development as an education professional, so you in turn can support the development of your own students and learning communities. Educators are among the most important members of our society, and we hope to have the opportunity to assist you in your pursuit of professional excellence.
